Just checking in! Computer is finally working. Day one of my exam SUCKED!!It was as hard as I feared. Parts of it I think I did very well, but overall I wasn't confident.

i'm soooooooo HaPpPy.. i get to go to the mini meet on the weekend of Sept. 18th! CheryL and I are going to stay at the Grand. Linda told me all about her getting the Paradise Pier Concerige.. and so I called about it..they didn't have it avaliable.. but they had the grand californian concerige.. so i called up CheryL and said ...hey.. guess what.. me and my really good friend are gonna stay at the grand concerige on the weekend of the 18th ... she's HaPpPy too! We've never stayed anywhere conceirge and can't wait to experience it. You know i'm the picture monkey..i'll take pics. It will be so nice to get to visit.

I was supposed to be at a meeting tonight (WW) but a lady called in sick so I get to be at work instead. I am glad that I can make the money for my family what with my dh being out of work, but I am bummed about missing my meeting...it was the last one they are having at that location. I think there is one in the neighboring town tomorrow, so I will try to go to that...as long as I don't have to work!

I DIDN'T KNOW some divas will be staying OVERNIGHT. I'm so excited! There's a $209 rate at the GC that night! I don't mind rooming by myself, but if someone wants to share let me know.

OHH I wish I could! I will be at HOJO with family the 16th through the 21st. We really wanted to stay at GC but with my husbands job gone I guess it is good that we got the AP rate at HOJO. Hope someone takes you up on the offer and I would LOVE to see the inside of the room! That way I can better plan for when we are more financially set and can stay there!

Good day sunshine's!

It is going to be cooler here today which is a nice break! I haven't had time to keep up with the thread much this week but I wanted to say that meeting Jane, Beth, Wendy, Stacie, Theresa and Marci was the highlight of my Vegas trip! Jane was the cutest birthday girl, Beth what can I say is just a beautiful person inside and out, Wendy is such a sweetie, Stacie has the best smile and it felt like I had met her before, Theresa, wish I could have talked to you a bit more without yelling, and finally Marci, the quiet one…hehehehe! I can’t wait to see you all again and get to know you all better!

The second highlight of our Vegas weekend was going to see Love….I loved, loved, loved it! Both Bob and I are huge Beatles fans so it was just the best! I gave Bob the tickets for our 2nd Anniversary and he gave me tickets to 3 Hollywood Bowl concerts!

YAY Dawn will be at the Sept. meet too! I cannot wait to see you all again and meet the Divas that I have yet to meet! Sarah I can’t wait to see you again! Oh, I’ll be near your part of the world again in two weeks we are going to Seattle and then to Victoria for a couple of days with the kids and Bob’s parents.

Ah, too bad Debra! I hope you have a great time at the Gorge. My dh and I tried seeing Dave Mathews there once and it was a total disaster for us (picture drunk people stumbling over us and spilling alcohol all over us plus being way away from the stage and not being able to see anything!) We decided after that to only go to theater and symphony type of arts events instead of "concert" events. Ah, live and learn. How's your foot by the way?

Deb that is cool you are going to Nickelback. We have tickets for the 31st so the next day!! You will have to tell me how it was! I assume you are seeing the same bands we are, Nickelback, Papa Roach, Hinder and 1 other one I always forget LOL. Nickelback is really the only one I REALLY want to see although I do like Hinder too. I saw them in concert with Aerosmith and I enjoyed them. But I have ALWAYS wanted to see Nickelback and have 4 of their albums. LOOOVE them!

Hope you enjoy the concert! I know I will.

Anyway I am about to leave here in a minute to go to mom's. She is going to be taking me to my doc apt today and I am droping the girls off with my dad so he can take them to church today since they don't have to be there till 10.

SO far knock on wood everything has been a LOT smoother this time but I should not jinx myself by saying this. The fast yesterday went fairly easily and I didn't get too hungry and the stuff this morning wasn't too bad either thank goodness. Now I just have to get through the actual test!

I just will be glad when it's over and HOPE he can give me something for the pain so I can go on my trip! Hopefully he can also recommend something to cure my problem too so I don't have to deal with this anymore!!

Anyway luckily tomorrow I have nothing going on and then Friday I have work and that night they have a big carnival at church in the evening to wrap up VBS. As long as I am feeling ok we will probably go cuz the girls really enjoy it. Then on Sunday they have a big service where they show a slide show of the whole week so we always look forward to that.

Anyway that's bout it for me. Hope everyone has a GREAT day and I will check in later when I get home!

Hi everyone!
Today I spent at least 3 hours de-cluttering, cleaning, organizing and re-arranging my bedroom. It looks pretty marvelous now and I should post a picture of my bed comforter for Dawn & Wendy because it has monkeys on it!

I'm missing all of my divas and Disneyland

I'm still waiting to hear news on my private loan! I'm a bit worried because it's getting close!

I can't wait until I get my Disneyland AP again!

I think Melody was going camping at the beach with her family, but I'm not sure how long she was going to be away.

Morning Divas!

Thanks so much Dawn. Actually I found out what was wrong and it is not TOO serious just annoying. Doc gave me some meds which will "hopefully" help me get through my trip and take the pain away while this supposedly heals on its own. If it doesn't he told me to call him when I get back and he will refer me to a colo/rectal guy and I will have to go from there to get it corrected. So we shall see but it is nothing life threatening or anything just painful and annoying. But thanks so much for the thoughts!!

Deb that sounds like so much fun going with a big group! The place where we go is a big amphitheater that is outside. It could be quite hot so I hope it isn't. We are taking the girls too to their first ever concert so they are pretty excited. I have been to two other concerts there, Godsmack and Rob Zombie and Def Leppard and Journey. Both were very good. I am pretty excited!

I am just glad that yesterday is over and really hope these meds work so I can go on my trip. I will be anxious to pick them up today and try them out!

Not much on for today but working out and a date with the laundry basket.

Tomorrow I have to go in to work and then tomorrow night our church is having a carnival for the last night of VBS. It should be fun and hopefully not too hot. Then on Saturday Shane has a test for the VA for his new job venture. Not sure what else we have going for Saturday but then Sunday our church puts on a big slide show recapping VBS which is always a lot of fun and then we are supposedly invited to his cousins housewarming party. So we shall see. Not sure if we are doing that yet or not. It all depends on if these meds help me and how I feel.

IF I feel ok I seriously need to start getting packed and ready for our trip! Monday I will work for the last time and then Tuesday will be the last day before we leave on Wed at o dark thirty! So that's bout it for me for the next few days!

Tina I am sorry your hubby is going to be gone. Is there anything fun you can do? I actually enjoy having some "me" time once in awhile. I take some nice long baths and watch what I want on the old tube, listen to music and just relax!

Hope you can find something to pass the time and maybe enjoy while he is gone!
