Soooo excited! 8 little girls sold many many cookies to pay for this trip! 2 nights at ft. wilderness, a day at epcot and breakfast at the grand floridian!
It's a dream come true for these girls!!!

Back in the day, the TCD girls were Girl Scouts.

And, we made a trip to the Fort with the Scouts.

Absolute good times!

Oh, the giggling . . .

And the screaming . . .

And the no-sleeping . . .

:scared1:

:drinking1

You will have a blast!

Be sure to take lots of photos!

Some day, these will be the good old days for your girls, so enjoy!

That is soooo cool!

I started my own Brownie troop this year, and thought that camping at Fort Wilderness would be the BEST! Unfortunately we are in NC and that might be more cookies than we can sell!

How much does it cost for the group camping area?:confused3

Who knows, maybe we can make the trip if all of the parents are on board!

Have a great time, and I would love to see a trip report on this! Sounds like quite an adventure! Good Luck! :)

The most recent information I have (2008) was that it was $10 per camper with a minimum of 20 campers for the group camping area.

Since you are allowed 10 people per site, reserving partial hook-up sites is the way to go (that's what we did with the girl scouts back in the day). That way, you also get electricity, which you do not get in the group camping area.

If you have ten campers per site, the cost of the group camping area would be about double the cost of a partial site. Only at Disney.

That is very, very cool!!! My GS troop would love that but we would need to sell a lot more cookies than you.

I had my troop over last night to do a badge in my backyard and then we had a fire and made s'mores. Okay, now I understand the Columbian kid never having had a s'more but some of these born and bred, many generations old American kids never having had one - :confused3 - what's up with that. Oh and I did laugh hysterically when 2 sisters said they've had the s'mores but their mother has never let them toast the marshmallows because it was too dangerous. I let those girls fire them up and get them really toasty. I even took pictures. ;) BTW, those kids are 10 and 12, not babies.

Enjoy your trip and please post how it went when you get back!! I'm really interested in taking them when they are much older!

Were you by any chance in cute little pink tents in the 1500 loop??
