Girl Scout cookie sales start on the 16th!/Oprah and Tyra's final season!

We now have an update on the search for Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

We are getting confirmation that they have hijacked Goofy's Candy Co. float during tonight's evening parade. Mickey is driving and Donald can clearly be seen in the passenger seat. It appears as if Donald is holding a gun up to his beak. Currently, they are driving east on I-4. Police are in a low speed pursuit, as the float only drives 4 mph. Unfortunately, their efforts are being hampered by Goofy, who is sitting on top of the float, apparently unaware that his vehicle has been hijacked. Goofy is still throwing out candy on both sides of the vehicle, which is causing the officers in pursuit to hang back for safety. Police are setting up barricades at both the port and airport, as it is thought that the mouse and duck are headed for one of those destinations.

We are also being informed that Universal Studios has offered to help in apprehending these two dangerous fugitives and have alerted Scooby Doo and Shaggy to fuel up the mystery van, in case it is needed for tactical support.

They just mentioned something about seeing uncensored crime-scene photos at oxygen.com & I would guess there are clips there as well, though you'll have to sort through all of the "OMG BAD GIRLS SO OBSESSED OMGOMGOMG TOP MODEL SO NEW SO OBSESSED OMG!!!" blah blah nonsense to get to it. (Sorry--the whole tone of Oxygen drives me INSANE. I do suffer through it for Snapped and on days when they have Roseanne marathons on during work hours, though. But how people can be "obsessed" with some of their programming is beyond me.)

I was watching one of the judge shows the other day (guilty pleasure) and Maury Povich came on saying "This 14 year old has slept with hundreds of guys and her mom wants her to take a lie detector test to see if she sneaks out of the house". I get so aggravated. Come on people. learn to be parents. You're not doing something right if you're 13 year old is getting out without you knowing it and getting knocked up.

And the Bad Girls Club ads drive me crazy. I admit, I did watch part of one season because I happened to be flipping past and one of the girls on it was named Jodie (which is also my name, spelled the same way), so I started watching to see if she conducted herself as any self-respecting Jodie should. She didn't. But the girls on it this season...blech. All yelling, "I run LA!" and whatnot. Um, sure you do. You're a sleazy tramp on a D-rate TV show, but you're the most important thing in one of the largest cities in the country. Lulz.

well, I'm married to a fanatic who at this moment is playing in the old man's league. He coaches the 2 little male snowflakes. They skate about 4 times a week and it costs a lot of money which is in direct competition with my Disney vacationing obsession. They were actually supposed to be at the Gopher game tonight, but it is a school night.


Quickly changing the subject and posting a link because I don't know how to do pics. I just lit 7 of these babies outside on our front steps and they are beautiful. With the weather being so cold, I'm making 2-3 per day and they are just dreamy.

Those are gorgeous! I wonder if there's a way to make "permanent" ones out of some sort of clear resin or something. I'd love to have one inside during the winter.
