Isn't the character interaction at Garden Grill the best?! I agree, the food is just ok, nothing special, but the characters more than make up for that.

Great update!!!

I went to GG a few years ago, we thought the food was not very good but loved the characters!!!! Pluto was also a very fun character for us! He noticed our birthday buttons and went to the back and brought out a little homemade card (of napkins) and had a picture on it and his name! It was super cute!!!!!!!!!!!!

Illuminations pictures are as great as always

Oh, Mary. Those photos with the girls and Pluto, Mickey, etc., are absolutely precious. They brought a tear to my eye...just too darn cute.

We haven't eaten there since '07 Baylor thinks it made him sick even though nobody else was ill...
I really want to go back!

Sweet pictures of the girls and their farm friends!

We'll be making our first trip to Garden Grill in July. We had a lunch ADR when they still had lunch characters, but they got rid of them shortly before we were supposed to go, so we changed plans. We never got around to re-scheduling for dinner, but when we were giving Brooklynn choices in planning the summer trip, she said Garden Grill. She didn't really have a clue what she was choosing , but we're going with it anyway.

Great updates Mary! Glad you enjoyed your new room. We felt the same about GG. Food was mediocre but the character interaction was pretty good. The characters were a little rushed during our visit there as there were hundreds of screaming teenagers trying to get their attention. It was packed!

The characters there were great!! Some of the food was pretty good but yeah nothing spectacular. We really liked Illuminations.
