Such a princessy pretty dress!

I can hear them clip clopping along in unison.
So cool!

great update!! It was nice to see the parade pics in the daytime since I've only seen it at night!

I bet the parks were getting pretty crowded by then!!!

Can't wait to hear about the 22nd!

Most of your pics from Sunday, December 19 are missing from Photobucket, but I'm sorry to hear the experience at 1900 Park Fare wasn't up to par! What a shame. One picture of your princesses all dolled up came through from the dinner and they look lovely!!

Smart move on doing some of the less popular rides to avoid waits!:thumbsup2 Isn't the Christmas parade phenomenal? The sounds and smells....just awesome! We loved it!

I missed some of the pictures too....darn it! But, the ones that I was able to see are great. You had an awesome parade viewing spot!

Hi Mary!

I have to say that you are raising two beautiful little princesses! :goodvibes I LOVE the photo of them on the Magic Carpets! So cute.

Thanks for all the great photos - I love reading your updates and had to :lmao: about the last one - the one for Monday. :thumbsup2

Hiya!! Thank you very much! I appreciate you following along. When I loaded all the pics I kept thinking-these are from tues-what happened on Mon:)

I think I fixed it, I moved things around and broke some of the links. Thanks, they were pretty cute. It was fun to try some new things, I did like the scents!!

Wed Dec 22nd

This was the day that Jeff arrived and we moved from our studio that was a savannah view with no animals to a 1 bd with hopefully LOTS of animals. I went to the desk and checked in. The CM asked if we minded walking a little further for a better view, I said nope. It was a bit of a hike though....The room was not yet ready.

Got the girls ready, nice CM came to get our luggage to hold and off we went to DHS. Checked the board and there still were FP for TSM-not until 6p and we would be gone by then. Someday we will ride this again. Our first stop was the Beauty and the Beast Show

Girls really enjoyed the show. We then had a snack and headed for Playhouse Disney. Got to sit right in front and during a show the CM in the show came and sat by Avery-she thought that was really cool. We then ventured into the Honey i shrunk playground. WOW, that place was cool. A little overwhelming but fun. it had always been to hot to go in there before. i had a nice conversation with a lady who had AP's and lived nearby. After an hour or so it was time for lunch! Had a sandwich at the place right by there. Off to Muppets next and then the girls were ready to go. As we were using the facilities I got the text our room was ready. We hopped on a bus and were off to AKV

Arriving back we headed up a floor and dooooooown a loooooong hallway to our room. Opened the door, ran to the balcony and saw....

To say we were excited by our view would be the inderstatement of the year!!! It was amazing. I started blubbering like a baby when I saw my giraffes. It was so amazing. After hanging out I put cranky pants Cayley in the big bed where she slept for over 2 hours!! Tried to get Avery to rest but no go. I told her there would be NO complaining or asking to go back to the room or ELSE. She will not nap but wants to go back to the room at 9p... I think not. Jeff was on his way to Kidani by now and Cayley woke up just as he was coming down the hall.

Up next, dinner at the Garden Grill and Illuminations

WOW WHAT A GREAT LOCATION!!!!

We had a far walk too when we stayed at AKL. If you were outside looking at the lobby from the parking lot, our room was in the very last wing to the far right of the lobby. It was about a 5 min walk after we left the lobby. Getting to the pool and food court was fine because we found elevators mid-way between the lobby and our room which we used when we went to the pool and got food but it was a pretty hefty walk so I feel you on that one but our view was amazing too!
We thought for sure after a day or two that the views of the animals would get old but I'm telling you we were out there watching ever second we were in the room and had the time! For us it was worth it to pay the extra money to stay in a Savanna room!

Oh my, Mary. That is exactly WHY I want to stay at the AKL. Your pictures are great...thank you for sharing them. I love Avery looking out over the balcony. And tell Crabby Cayley no crabby allowed in September!

What an awesome view! sounds like a wonderful day at DHS...I love the Beauty and the Beast show and have not seen it since 2001. Hopefully, I can fit it in this year.

Love the pictures of the giaraffe's how sweet looking...

Great pics of the animals. My favorite was the last one. Was that a baby giraffe?

I find it interesting that the CM asked you if you minded the extra walk - would anyone really turn down a better view just not to walk the extra bit. :)
