OK, I have not tried these yet (disclaimer
) , but read this little article in a magazine and thought it might be worth passing on to anyone interested (I will be ordering some and trying them in January- just in case!):
"For many people, summer invariably means a trip to an amusement park. Perhaps you've given up on the roller coasters and other whirly rides because you no longer have the stomach for it. This summer it's going to be different. You can join your kids on the wildest of rides if you make use of one simple natural compound - ginger. Ginger has not only been used for ages to effectively combat nausea and motion sickness, but it does this without the drowsiness caused by many over-the-counter medicines. But ever since ginger has been taken out of most ginger ales in favor of artificial flavors, it's been tough to find palatable forms of the root. Now there are Preggie Pops, a tasty ginger-filled lollipop made to ease morning sickness for moms. They're easy to keep in your purse, don't go bad in the heat and taste great. Yes, they're made for pregnant women, but they work equally well for someone who wants to ride the Tilt-A-Whirl. Suck one or two on the way to the amusement park and a couple more during the course of the day."
I checked out the web site and it certainly looks legit: http://www.preggiepops.com/preg/
Has anyone ever tried these? Wish I had found these 9 months ago for my DD - poor thing's been sick through her entire pregnancy!
