Ging Gang Goolie 2008, 23rd May, Tal-y-Bont On Usk

but Ian has a new toy, a griddle for the bbq, it is what made the pork go criss crossy, problem solved
We too have a griddle, which we never use, a Le Creseut one which weighs a ton - is Ian's also a weighty item?

not as luxurious as Le Creseut, it is very light with a folding handle, I do believe it came from a camping shop, it is his favourite new bbq gadget :lmao:

At the rate we are going it'll be more like a hotel than a campsite!

You have a point there Claire, Ian was fancying a new tent last night as well, it looked a bit like the Hilton of tents. We have decided to wait for the sales though, the one we have is fine for this year ...

it has come around so quickly  beware, Ian is going to be picking your brains, I have told him that we will get the new tent later on in the year on the condition that we have a week in Cornwall next year, we have done Newquay four times, and travelled around from there. I suggested Padstow to him purely because of Rick Stein :lmao:

yes padstows nice, or Bude (further north) thats good for surfing and is a pretty easy drive to get to padstow for the day.
the really pretty part of cornwall is right down the bottom, st ives, marazion, sennen cove area but its a hell of a drive especially if you get caught in grockle traffic :lmao:
you could always do a week gradually working your way down (stopping off in launceston for a few bevies en route of course)

its rainy here again today, Ians pine cones are still predicting sun though
