Can anyone add some input on ordering gift cards through giftcertificates.com? I've read some old threads regarding the site and it sounds great. How exactly do the supercertificates (I think that's what they're called) work? DD started preschool this year and I was thinking about giving her teachers the supercertificates so they could choose what they wanted, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't giving them something that was actually a hassle to use.

Hopefully someone else will post to address your question, but I just wanted to compliment you on considering such a thoughtful, practical gift for your DD's teachers. I taught for 34.5 years and would have LOVED to receive such a gift! Also, I was not a preschool teacher myself but IMHO they are usually underpaid, especially given the importance of their work.

we give a Super Certificate to our daughter's teacher every year. We have never received a complaint about them not working. They are always thrilled to receive them and one of her teachers talked about it the following year as the best gift she ever got.
