What in the world do you buy a 2 month old boy for christmas?

HELP! Somewhere around $20 please......

The only other infants and christmas I've bought for was my own DD8 who was born in October...and of course, i just bought anything I wanted ....this is my nephew, and i'm lost as to what to get him.

Thanks

Brandy

I would look into getting a share of stock that will grow. He won't have any idea that you are getting him anything, this is something he will know is from you later on...

Ok, he's 2 months old, not going to have a clue about what you give him. Get him a savings bond, diapers, a couple small toys, books.

Head on over to Target. (Thats where everyone should head when the tough get going!) They have a whole baby section in the toy department. You will get all kinds of ideas there.

Thanks all, I never thought of stocks or bonds....i know my girls get them every year from their Papa...

Targets not an option, we dont have those here LOL

LOL southern VT, closest one is about an hour south in Mass, at a mall...not an easy in easy out like a walmart- which I have 1 in every direction about 20 minutes each way LOL

board books are always nice, maybe a baby's first christmas ornament, although likely they'll get several. stocks/bonds...now that would be wonderful, at least to us.

For DS's 1st Christmas our in-laws got him a coin set from the mint with that years coins. I believe they are getting a set for DD this year as well. :)

A baby einstein DVD.

I would go for a baby einstein book or cd if you want to do baby einstein, just in case they don't do tv for their little one.

you could always do a nice little basket of board books and cds, depending on what you want to spend. Laurie Berkner has some great cd's out there that I love as much as my kids do. Baby Einstein has some nice classical ones, although you could always just get classical cd's, too. Kenny Loggins has the sweetest cd, Return to Pooh Corner. I loved it when mine were little (still do).

I have a new neice and I got her a savings bond and hard cover copies of several of my daughter's favorite books (Goodnight Moon, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, If You Give A Pig A Pancake).

How about a few Dr. Seuss classics? Reading to babies is highly encouraged, and his books are great!

My DD is 3 months and when anyone asks I tell them toys. Toys aren't something you usually get at a shower or buy beforehand but I notice my little one starting to want to "play" with things now. Mobiles, bright rattles and danglys for her car seat/stroller bar, teething toys, woobies and tumy time toys are what she asked Santa for this year.

I would give a gift certificate to a book store so that the parents could start to build the child's "library." Then you could get them something inexpensive like stacking rings that the child can "play with" (or drool on) at Christmas.
