Gift certificates for Disney restaurants

We are wanting to give some friends a meal at a Disney restaurant as an anniversary gift. We're thinking of California Grill as a possibility. Does Disney have gift certificates available, or any other arrangement for giving a meal as a gift?

I don't know of any way to give gift certificates to a specific restaurant at WDW but you could give them Disney Dollars which you can buy at your local Disney Store and make a cute certificate to go with it.

I made two PS's for a cousin a couple years ago as part of a Christmas gift. One was to the Breakfastosaurus and the other to the Rose & Crown, timed for Illuminations. I made certificates for both, including the confirmation # in case they needed it.

You can do the same for your friend. Find out when the MK fireworks will be and then schedule a PS at the CA Grill for them. Make the PS about 1 hour before the fireworks. Make a certificate and then include some Disney Dollars for the meal. You can even include a recent menu.

I love the idea of including a recent menu in with the certificates! Now I just need to find out the exact dates of their trip and make a PS for them. I wonder if I could make 2 different PS's at Cal. Grill for 2 different days, let them pick which one would suit their itinerary best and then cancel the other one.
