gift cards to pay the room bill?

Staying at Bay Lake this weekend. I brought some Disney gift cards but we have been charging everything to the room. Can I use them to pay the room bill?? I hope so!!

Yes but depending on how much you have charged in total they may have charged your credit card. You have a certain limit before they charge your credit card. But you can absolutely use gift cards-I just did it a few weeks ago.

Awesome! I told them I was paying cash and she said she would note it but I still put a credit card down.

I asked a similar question, and one thing I was told was to make sure to go to the front desk and pay using the gift cards by at least the night before you check out. It seems Disney starts settling up your bill & will charge your credit card around midnight the night before you check out.

I would stop by and apply gc waybefore checking out, just dont throw gc way incase you have any returns or left overs

WE did this in Feb. No problems outside of Cm taking wrong amount off card but that was worked out with an email/phone call

We do this every trip. We charge everything back (including meals and tips) and every few days, I go down and pay the balance off with gift cards. It was mentioned, but make sure you don't go over your "credit limit" or they will charge it to your card and you start over on your limit and that its paid off the night before you check out.

Value 500.00
Moderates 750.00
Deluxe 1500.00

Last year we took a $500 gift card with us to pay for any charges. I went to settle up at the end of the week and they had already charged my credit card.

They did remove the charge and then take my gift card, but you may want to visit before the last night to pay up.
