Anyone ever heard of these or used them?

My mil gave us a giftcard for OutBack Steakhouse and the closest to us is over an hour away. I saw a site once where you can swap gift cards with people and thought it'd be fun to check out. :)

Otherwise, does anyone know if they have any in the Orlando area? Guess it would be a bonus to use it there while on vacation. :)

Yeah, but Outback also owns Carraba's Italian Grill - http://www.carrabbas.com/ and Cheeseburger in Paradise http://www.cheeseburgerinparadise.com/index.asp - do you have one of these, close by?

The Gift Certs can be used at all locations.

There is an Outback not far from WDW in Formosa Gardens. If you go out the back exit (by AKL) and make a right at the light, it's on your left.

OK, maybe I'm dense....but how do these sites stay honest?

I mean, how do I KNOW that someones card really has the $ on it that they claim it does.

It could be a $50 card they want to trade but only have a $1 left on it.

Know what I mean?????

I wondered the same thing and would love to hear from anyone who has experience wth this. On one of the sites you type in the last 6 digits of your gift card and they give you a % of cash back. I could get $40 for this $50 gift card.
