Giant weight scale at Blizzard Beach

Has anyone else noticed that the Toboggan Races at Blizzard Beach is like a giant scale? (The water slide where 8 people slide down at the same time.) The heaviest person always wins and the lightest person always loses. It's frustrating for my 5 yr old, who thinks there is some sort of skill involved and he is just "not good at it."

That might be somewhat true - but I've never "won" and I was probably 225lbs the last time I was there!! (Lighter this time thank goodness!!) It was always little boys that beat me!!

Maybe there's a happy medium between too fat and too little that wins it!

I agree with you. I sent my 6 year old ahead of me and watched her a few seconds before I went down and I flew right by her and waited a while at the bottom for her to finish. She was definitely the last one down and didn't travel very far when it leveled out at the bottom!!
