WTH?? Last time I saw Ned on GW, he looked to be about 13/14. Then last night they had a new actor and he's magically turned 16/17. Talk about a growth spurt! :rotfl:

Anyone else notice this?

All I kept saying to my wife was not only isn't that the same kid he's not even the same age! :rotfl:

I thought that was funny too-especially when his mom said something like "it seems like you grew up over night." I'm like--he did!

I saw it and just thought he had gone through a growth spurt since last season. I HAVE seen boys change that much in one year. Is it really a different actor?

LOL...I was dying when she said that....I kept thinking, is she trying to keep a straight face, b/c I can't. At the beginning of the show I was thinking, who's the Ned she's talking to b/c that's not Ned....I thought did he really grow up that fast irl???? Duh.....I'm slow sometimes, yes I am. :rolleyes1

It's definitely a new actor. If you Google Ned Ghost Whisperer, there are numerous chat sites that are a buzz about it.

Aww, I'll miss the old Ned. Haven't seen last night's episode yet...it's still on my DVR.

I was confused at first! I thought maybe Delia's kid had an older brother we hadn't been introduced to.

Gosh, if they had to change the actor, couldn't they have gotten someone who at least *resembled* the original? His personality seems different too.

::yes:: Guess it opens up to exploring the high school scene

I was thinking that too. They often do that on soaps. The kid is born. They show off the infant for a while, then not seen again. Then about a couple years later, he is suddenly 4-6 years old. :confused3 You only see them around Christmas time. Then the next thing you know, another 2-3 years later, the kid is in their teens, having teen angst & teen storylines.

I'm just glad they didn't get rid of the hubby. :) He's still under-utilized. But, I'm glad he's around. :thumbsup2

I've been wondering the same thing since he looks SOOO different. But on IMDb, it lists Tyler Patrick Jones as Ned from last night's episode, which is the original Ned. ????? But that means he should be 13 years old. And he didn't look 13.

Anyone have the end credits to see if it was him? My DVR cut off too early and I didn't get them.

I thought he looked different too but I wasn't really watching it. I just wanted Moon Light to come on to look at Mick!;)

Not to jack this thread, but didn't you just love the gratuitous workout with no shirt on!!! :rolleyes1 I was too distracted to continue with the show after that - thankfully I DVR'ed to watch again.... and again... and again....

It seems to me this season we have seen a lot less of her husband, and I just love him.

It was weird switching "Ned" like that! I told my husband the last time I saw Ned he was about 12 now he is 16! I did like the new guy though. I guess it does open up more storylines and may bring in some younger viewers. I really enjoy this show, I hope it survives another season.

It was great to see a new Ghost Whisperer again. we were right about them moving to a "teen angst" theme. I hope this doesn't become the target demographic they are going to be moving this show towards permanently. While I liked the show Everwood, I am not a teen angst viewer.

And I did notice they used hubby, Jim a whole lot less. :( What is it? Does JLH have something personal against him but is stuck with him as her hubby, so they use him as little as possible? :confused3

Jumping in, because GW is the only show I watch on TV.

I don't think JLH has good chemistry with the actor who plays Jim, but maybe if the writers develop his character more, it could add a new dimension to the show. LOL I made a pun, I'm so corny!

I liked last night's episode, especially at the end when the mother was gently touching her kids, and they sensed it, before she went into the light.
