If you all want some really good para shows from all over the world go to youtube and check out paranormrus2...he has over 2000 shows albeit they are in sections but he has all seasons of all the para normal shows inclding those from New Zealand, England, Ireland, Canada and the US.

Loving reading this thread! Ghost Hunters is one of favorite paranormal shows. I have both of their books, as well. It's interesting reading things from their perspectives...and about the cases that aren't on the show, from when they began TAPS.

I have different stories....but wanted to share this picture. My eldest son took it when he was around 8 of our old dog. It was taken with a 35 mm camera. I had it analyzed and also sent it to local ghost groups to see if they could figure it out. From what I was told...it's on the negative, so it had to be THERE when the photo was taken. No explanation was found, but the conclusion was that it was "something paranormal". See if you can see the image on the center of the dog's back.

Other things that have happened since we've lived here (first owners in a townhome we had built):

- I was washing dishes and was alone in the house one day. All windows and doors closed. I heard women's voices, but couldn't make out what they were saying. When I left, I just told them to take care of the house while I was gone. When I mentioned it to my dh, he said he'd heard men's voices in the living room once.

- First year we lived here, I walked my eldest son to the bus stop and came back in to the house with the baby. For whatever reason, my eyes were drawn up the stairs, to our attic door. Just a trap door in the ceiling. It was popped up and pushed a little over. The hair on the back of my neck stood up and I took my son and drove to a neighbor down the street. They sent someone back to check out the house, and my dh came home to check it out. Never happened again, and no reason was found.

- I was pregnant with my 5th child and was woken out of a dead sleep one night. I thought it was my bladder, but I heard music from the living room downstairs. I crept to the top of the stairs and I could hear it louder. It was mechanical sounding and then I noticed a light. I had this little resin village scene, and it had a bright Christmas light bulb on it. It was hard to turn on, and had been off before bed. Somehow...it turned itself on. I woke up my dh, who I made go downstairs to check on it. He laughed at me, but saw nothing out of the ordinary.

- Same pregnancy, my uncle passed away suddenly. I had a dream that he was still alive and had a whole conversation with him. I remember him hugging me and I woke up...thinking he was still alive. Then...I remembered he was gone...but I realized that i could still feel his hug...like he'd just left. Strange, huh?

I have other stories. I've been interested in the paranormal most of my life...and while I've never really seen anything that I remember, I have been having experiences since I was very young.

:scared1: Looks like a reflection of you on the dog's back. Weird.

Did anyone watch last night? The show right after it, I think Destination Truth, had Jason and Grant on as well.

I've found this thread thoroughly entertaining!

I don't watch any of the ghost shows, but I've had a few experiences. I actually typed them out here and erased them before I posted. I can't bring myself to "put it out there," where anything you type on the Internet can come back to haunt you. Pardon the pun! :lmao: I applaud all of you for doing so. :thumbsup2

Hi all -

Pardon the intrusion, but if you like Ghost Hunters or Destination Truth, you might like the web series "Forests of Mystery". I encourage you to check it out at www.forestsofmystery.com

I don't know what happened but my DVR recorded the last episode of Destination Truth and it was the wrong one! The description was for the Stonehenge but I got the haunted forest.

I guess I need to track down where I can see the last episode.

Watched Wednesday nights Ghost Hunters. Saw the baby stroller move! My DH never believes it because you cant' see the whole stroller and someone could be messing with it.

I love the ghost shows on TV, but I'm wondering why they always go hunting at night? Don't ghosts come "out" in the daytime, too? Maybe it's because they're easier to see in the dark??

They are easier to detect in the dark with some of the equipment they use. One example is the gadget that looks for heat signatures.

Or at least so they claim :)

I can't wait for tonight's episode!!! It's for the Norwich State Hospital. I only live about a 1/2 from it and both my grandparents worked there.

Thing is....I'm a school bus driver and at the beginning of this school year I always had to drive by Norwich State Hospital. What a freaky feeling that was. I was always fine when driving down RT2, but as soon as I started passing the hospital, I would automatically tense up and get the heebie-jeebies. I didn't mean to do it but every morning it would be the same thing. So I am SOOOO interested in seeing it tonight.

I can't wait for tonight either--but I'm bummed that it's already the "mid-season" finale--it seems like the seasons fly by now:sad1:

Our house is acting up again.

About 2 weeks ago the daughter (age 6) started talking about one of our regular guests. She calls him "Clockhead" (yeah, yeah...Creeps me out too). Well, Clockhead has brought some new friends to the house. Now we're hearing all kinds of new bangs, thumps, hisses, whispering etc. No kidding ya'll, we can lay in bed at night and think the kids are running through the house.

Night before last the wife woke up and heard someone talking. She woke me up and said "Go see if someone is breaking into the house" ...Then she stiffened up and gasped while looking out the bedroom door, I looked over in time to see what to me, looked like a shadow moving down the hallway. Every hair on my body stood up.

Last night while we were watcing TV, something was bothering our dog (A stinky, lovable gas bag of an Aussie Shepard) to no end...He would get up out of a dead sleep, go get one of his toys, then go stand in the middle of the front room of the house wiggling his nubby tail like he was trying to get someone to take it. He must have done it 4 or 5 times.

Our 3 year old son has started chasing something around the basement. He's calling it the "Boy" no idea...but it certainly gets his attention. Out of the Blue DS will be playing upstairs, stop dead in his tracks and Say "Down Dere" and he'll haul buns down to the basement, then to the furnace room. Then He'll tell me "He's Hiding down there" (While pointing at our sump pump)

There is something that the wife feels is not pleasant...which kind of scares us.

Explodo, you might want to bring in someone. I think that a haunt doesn't have to be an unpleasant thing but when you feel uncomfortable I think that it might be wise to deal with it.

I'm bummed about the end of the mid-season too. First Destination Truth is done (and I LOVE this show!) and now Ghosthunters. I suppose that GH Academy will be starting soon and maybe GHI? What about the goofy Ghost Adventures show? The guys are silly but I get a kick out of the show.

We're trying to figure out what to do.

You've read some of the other stuff we've done, Nothing has seemed to be scary up until now. We may call our local paranormal group again.

TBH, we feel more than a little foolish, People aren't supposed to be talking about this stuff. And in our case, it makes me nervous to think of my work peers to know this was happening. It's all rather frustrated and humbling.
