That's sounds like fun! How was the food?

We're planning a trip out east in a couple of years, I'm marking down places to go when we are there. I've been to Salem once, I did the Witch museum and walked around the city, it was a lot of fun. Of course that was 12 years ago too. We plan on taking the kids out of school and going when the colors change.

I missed most of this week's episode, I was DISing and only 1/2 paying attention.

I loved the food. I got a lobster crepe and although it was small it was FANTASTIC. I had forgotten to eat lunch yesterday ( I only mention this because it must be the FIRST time in my life that this has happenedLOL) so I splurged on the crepe calories.

I was disappointed in Salem because there seemed to be so many less people and less excitment than years past. We went on Friday because it is suppoed to rain tonight. We had done the ghost stoires at the Peabody Essex in the past as well as the Spirits of the Gables both of which were pretty good.

As to places to see I can tell you a bunch. YOu have to go to Longefellow's Wayside Inn and do the whole Lexington and Concord thing. Wayside Inn is supposed to be haunted by a spirit named Jerusha.
I will PM you a list of places to go.

OMG a Ghost Hunters Thread?! DH would love this, I must tell him. Anyway, he makes me watch Ghost Hunters and it scares the crap out of me. Then on the days he goes to work, I'm left home all alone.. all night long...not sleeping
He also just started watching a new show called Ghost Adventures.

Hey guys I forgot to tell you I am going to see a channeler (medium) On NOV 7. There is no gurantee I will be read but I am hoping . Four of my friends are going too! I have to bring a photo of a loved one that I wish to contact.

Welcome to the club. Lots of us don't sleep to well after reading some of the stories here. Many here watch GH, Paranormal State and now Ghost Adventures.

I am still "iffy" on it...the word "dude" gets used alot. They tend to talk loudly and then are always saying "shhhh, shut up" to each other, kind of like maybe if YOU were a little quieter you would hear things!

I did not hate it. It really seemed rather scary to me I do not know why the dude thing bothered me but not that much b/c Brian Harnois used to say that all the time on GH so I got over it. I think the running and screaming makes me MORE afraid. On Gh they make it so matter of fact that they have somone say GET OUT in an Exorcist voice i don t care how seasoned they are it is scary.

Anyone know the name? I will look it up on You Tube. My husband IS home so I am all set. OF course I do not know how much help he would be agaisnt the paranomal. I on the other hand would throw him in front of the apparition and run That would scare them away.
ETA Especially when he starts talking politics it is painful. It just never ends.

Okay I watched ....WTH was I thinking? It was so scary it was not funny and they were talking about the EVP's I jumped out of my skin. I figured Paranomral State is not all that good so I just figured when you all said it was scary you just had your sites set lower. I was WRONG!

My dh and I LOVE GH. We've watched it ever since it first came on.. Too bad the stupid seasons they have of it are SOOO short.

We watched PS last night. I felt soooo sorry for that gal. Specially since we saw she was a fellow MSTie (mst3k silhouette in her window ) Did you see at the end of the ep she is still having problems and had a "violent" reaction to holy water??

It's funny because I thought the end of the exorcism was very anti-climatic. It just ended too abruptly and I was saying to myself, how do they know it's really over? Just because she said so? But what if she/it is lying to make them go away? Now, does this make Chip a fraud or did it come back? And her parents didn't look the least bit uncomfortable or overly concerned during the proceedings. I don't know, I don't know that I really bought it. I guess I'm always a skeptic, except for GH and John Edward.
