I know. It’s enough to make you crazy.

OTOH, I think it’s rare for things to change dramatically. You can expect a slight increase in the buy-in cost over time in general.

....and the longer you wait, the longer before you can use your points. Wait long enough, and that's one year of points you don't get.

I used to try to time the market. I was pretty much wrong every time.

I think its hard to guess because Disney maybe doesnt even know yet. If these incentives dont drive sales I do think its possible for a better one down the line but I feel like not right after this one. I feel like they want to catch us off guard and maybe would save that for after a price raise

The odds are always stacked towards now in DVC, Next use year you are buying 44 years of points not 45 so $3,000 in value goes every year.

But you're also paying mf so you're also spending money there the longer you have it. But yes still worth more than not having it

We just added to our RIV contract. We originally bought in a few years ago, and added more points yesterday. Our first stay will be this November.

Would anyone happen to know if the Riviera gift shop has postcards? We’ll be at RIV in a couple of weeks and my son would like to send one to his friend.

Last time we were there (admittedly September 2024) they did!

Is there a specific email address for Riviera bell services or at least a generic one for the Riviera. I ordered a package to be delivered to my room from an address in the US, delivery was supposed to take 4 days and as I was staying for 14 nights thought it would be fine. Due to apparent delays the package only arrived the day after I checked out and flew home to Scotland . I called initially and was told that on these occasions the package would be returned to sender. I was not overly convinced by his response to be honest and the sender insists it has never been returned to him.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don’t know there is anything other than the main address.

But, you might be better off talking with the hotels division because my thought is that they have a centralized system in place?

It’s possible they also have a certain number of days they hold it before sending it back?

I don’t have an email address sorry but I had this happen to me with a parcel (and coincidentally also from Scotland!) and Riviera bell services were brilliant! I spoke with them at checkout & they said once it arrived they’d return it to sender and did just that, so I received my full refund from the supplier. I wasn’t holding out much hope and fully accepted I might be out of pocket but they were great hope you get the same experience

We added on last night as well, to allow us to book 1 bedroom villas. We originally bought at Riviera thinking the tower studio would be enough! LOL In fairness it was enough for one or two trips. And for short stays it still is.

How long have you done a tower room? I had the bad luck of an all day downpour so I regretted it. If it was nice weather maybe I could do 2-3 days.

I think RIV is going to post some good July numbers with the amount of us who added on.

I've stayed in a tower studio for 8 nights twice. It wasn't bad. We were good about keeping organized. The worst part is you have to put away and take down the bed. I would rather save tower studios for long weekends or a mid-week solo trip and stick to larger rooms for anything longer though.
