Hey,

I've read - somewhere - that my GHD straightners won't work in WDW...has anyone got any suggestions please?

Thanks!

Kayleigh

Unless you have the Mark IV then no they won't work.

Hi there,
(Using my kids username again!)
Which Ghd's do you have? I bought my daughter's the MK1V's as I read they could be used in Florida; and they were fine when we were there in Dec. You can remove the english plug, and there is a two-prong plug, but we found it easier to just use an adapter.
Hope this helps!

The 2 round pins plug is for Europe you still need an adaptor for the US as they have flat pins. Love my mark IV's for the US :)

When we were out there before last year, I bought a pair of ceramic straightners in Target. For $25, they weren't brilliant, but they did for the hols!

Doh! That's why they didn't fit! I just thought *** they were supposed to work in the US, that was the right plug!

My GHD's are the older style ones that don't work in America so last year I bought some cheap Babyliss ones, unfortunately with my big curly mop they were awful!! So this year I am borrowing my sisters GHD's, she got hers for christmas and they are the new type :thumbsup2
Maybe then I have a chance of getting some nice pictures for a change! :rotfl:

My GHDs worked fine, they are a couple of years old I think but what I would say is that despite leaving the hotel room with poker straight hair it went a bit kinky anyway due to the humidity so I wouldn't stress about it too much! (that said I'll still be taking mine - lol!)
