GF Villas Show Room

Any idea when they will be building the new GF show rooms at the SSR show center?

There are Florida laws of when a Timeshare Developer can offer a project for sale and when they are allowed to show the property.

With only 150 +- units available will they build a model at SSR?

I wouldn't want to drag a high-end client over to SSR to show them a mock-up of what they will be buying at $160+/point. It would be better for DVD to show them the rooms, themselves and have a small office in case someone wants to sign there. It would also be easier to sell AKV, IMO, as they'll be looking at Victorian America while buying Africa.

In the end, it help sell us at BLT

There have been reports that DVD has been internally testing various VGF designs/layouts in a SSR model. It's not open to the public, but the Imagineers.

It's convenient for them to test furniture, patterns, etc there while VGF is being built.

It's easy for DVD to keep the room setup at SSR. When VGF sales start, use the SSR room plus have a room at VGF for people to see. Much like they did with BLT.

They were building something at SSR last October. We asked if it was the GF villas and were told no with a blush and a wink.

DH and I went on the tour at SSR in September 2011. Our guide specifically told us that the BLT model was not available for viewing because it was being converted to a VGF model. He even showed us the construction. Nothing was in it yet though, just framing.

They always so no! Last January I stopped and asked if they would get an Aulani model...they said NO! Well poof...now there is one!

So hopefully even if they say no GFV model...one will appear afterall!
