GF tea suggestions please....

I booked the Gardenview tea and there will be 2 adults and one child. What would you suggest ordering for the most variety or what is your favorite thing to order at the tea?

My thoughts were to order 2 Buckingham Palace and 1 Mrs Potts tea then to add on a cheese plate and Sally Lunn bread. Will this be to much or is there a better choice than what I have planned.

Thanks for the help with this. We all can eat our fair share and this will be our lunch and we will have either snacks or CS for dinner. So it is our main meal that day.

I think your choices are good ones. My oldest dd and I went and that was our lunch for the day. It was plenty of food for the two of us and we just got the BP with no added extras. The girl next to us order the cheese plate and scones and I could not believe how much food she got. We regretted not getting the cheese plate afterward because it looked so good !! But honestly, I'm not sure if we would have been able to eat it all.

BTW, now I am craving their scones so bad, the were so good, I wasn't expecting to like them that much. Oh and their tea blend was sooo good, I bought a tin of it to have at home

Sounds like you have the best variety planned.
You may actually find it is too much food with the additions of cheese plate (which is lovely, though, so go for it) and the Sally Lunn on the side.

Keep in mind that you can order in stages, that is to say you can order the two buckinghams and the potts, and then as you go through the first couple of courses if you think it won't be enough you can order more (i.e., cheese plate or sally lunn) at that point. They will never try to speed you up, you can linger over the experience as you like.

Also, if you share like we do, with the two buckinghams you can order one each of the last course and have a variety of sweets - we do this, one orders the berries and one orders the pastries, and then we share.

We always do this on our Sunday afternoon, and it does serve well as the evening meal after a large-ish character breakfast.

DD and I always order a Buckingham Palace each, and a Gentleman's Platter to share (we like the pates), it is more than enough food. In fact, we are sometimes hard-pressed to finish our dessert!

DH and I ordered two Buckinghams...I loved mine...he just liked his...next time we go (hopefully in Oct) I will get the Buckingham but he wants to get the dessert ones or the Sally Lund one...we both loved the tea!
