This may help. The floor plan is there and pictures.

There is also a video on that site too.

I booked a 2bdrm for January. :yay:

Doing research I noticed that VGF studio looks much nicer than BLT studio. Comparing to Poly the villa has a glass shower AND traditional tub/shower. All rooms will have a balcony/patio too. Did you know there are TV's built into the mirrors in the bathrooms? So cool:goodvibes

Have fun comparing!

I priced it out for may although we want to go in april and it was double the price paying OOP per renting points

when are you going??? I am not going till september 2014 so pricing for that isn't on disney yet...but if you play around with other dates in 2014 the rates show up....renting points is way cheaper!!!

I was really considering a studio but everyone here has talked me out of it saying we will be too cramped :(

I might do a split stay and stay there a few nights first before trying out the CR or heading back to the poly....I think the splash pad area looks adorable and i want to do dinner and tea at the GF.

I thought you couldn't do a split stay and that's why you had to decide between CR and Poly, then CR and VGF?

BLT studios are among the smallest DVC studios, so GF may not be that bad, but if having a couch to sit on (reading or TV), kitchenette and or 2 showers are not important, then VGF studios may not be a good fit for you.

I really want to stay at the poly again but my DH wants a change....I had nixed the idea of a split stay if free dining is offered at that time...if it is room only and better discount I will do split stay......the GF looks like my girls would like it but to appease my DH it might have to be CR/poly split.

The studios get very cramped when you have to use a sleep sofa. Poly rooms are bigger. We've gone from a studio at BLT to the Poly and the difference in size was astounding.

That's because of the BLT layout and the size. It's the smallest studio. GFV layout is much better and the square footage is more too.

We are a family of 4 and have stayed in studios many times. We don't find them cramped, but we wouldn't stay in a BLT studio because of the size and layout. I would have no problem with the 4 of us in a GFV studio, especially since there are 2 showers! We like the sofa during the day and only pull open the bed at night. But, if our stay was anything longer than 4 days, we have to go to a 1 bedroom. It's just more comfortable for us for longer stays. (we spend a lot of time at our resort)

Thank you! I am just wondering if it will be cramped with five of us in there (one being in a pack and play)?!?! Renting points for it seems the cheapest way to go so I am considering it still!

Its all personal preference. There are many who would be perfectly OK with your arrangement..and then there are some others who would choose no less than a 2BR.

I think my girls would love it because it looks so regal and fancy. We are checking in on a sunday or monday and I thinking of doing only two nights at vgf while we do one day at mk and a resort day and mnsshp at night. then head to the poly for 4 nights.

DH wants to try something new! I would rent points though as it is sooo much cheaper than rack rate and it makes me a little nervous to rent points.
