GF/RPC Lounge and room request

Hi everyone!

I got some good info. on The GF FAQ thread and I'm looking for some additional info. about DELUXE ROOMS in the main bldg.

I read that there are two deluxe room types...type A and type B. Is that how I request them at CRO or is there another name for them? We are interested in type B (if that's the room that has more angles and NOT a jacuzzi tub).

Also, any ideas where these rooms are located on the floors? Is the lounge on the 4th floor - and is it wise to request our room on that floor?

There is one deluxe concierge room in the floorplan you want right beside the lounge. There are actually only 2 with that floorplan, on on the third floor and the other on the fourth floor. So, you'll basicly be looking at rooms 4322 & 4422, with 4422 being right next to the lounge.

I don't think that I would want to be that close to the lounge, so if you can, make the request for the 3rd floor instead. You'd still be very close to the lounge, only a short walk up the stairs. The way the lounge is set up, there is a childrens TV and small table at that end. It just seemed that this area was a bit noisy and could carry through to a nearby room.

My deluxe concierge room was handicap-accessible, but here are photos of it so you can pretty much figure out the layout of a non-handicap-accessible deluxe concierge room (boy, that was a mouthful):
