Has anyone stayed / visited GF and its pool? We are thinking of excercising our right to "hop" there on our next visit. Our kids will be doing the pirate cruise, and dh and I will take in a nice lunch, then we thought, gee, if the pool's good, maybe we'll stay and hop in it before heading back to BWV.

Or would we do better to ditch the GF once the kids are done and head elsewhere?

Any input welcome.

We stayed at the Poly our last trip and walked over to the GF. The pool looked to be about the same size as the Poly.

It is a zero entry pool so it would work great if you have little ones.

The pool and the restaurants at the GF are nice, however, it can get a tad 'stuffy' over there.

We are thinking about the same thing. We have a 2 year old and are going to dearly miss SAB at beach club since we are staying at OKW this trip. She doesn't like deep water, so we were thinking of trying GF pool one day after MK. We stayed at Poly in 2001 and that was really good for her when she was 9 months old.

Is there a playground at GF? I hear there is one at Con, but have never seen it. What about Con pool is that good for young kids?

Thanks!

My kids did the cooking class on our last trip. After their class we grabbed a quick lunch at the cafeteria and went to the pool. We all loved the water slide and later took the kids to the beach and they played in the sand. While the kids were in class we walked over to the wedding pavilion and onto the Poly. That looked like another great place to spend the day. I would recommend either the GF or Poly pool as a great way to spend the day after one of the GF kids activities. And we didn't use a day on our hopper passes that way either!

Have fun!
