GF or CR Hair salon experiences?

Does anyone have any experience with the hair salons at either the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary? I'll be staying at Wilderness Lodge and thought I'd like to get my hair done to go with my costume before attending the "This Is Love" event. Just looking for any opinions or information. Thanks.

We've used the salon at GF a few times and the experience was wonderful. My teenage daughter got the nicest haircut ever there! We've also done the YC/BC (periwigs?) a few times and it was ok. My daughter actually had her hair highlighted at the GF one time and they did a very nice job. I think you could be happy at either of these, be sure to reserve a time in advance. My son had his hair cut on Main Street USA at the MK, and that was fun! I don't think you can make a reservation there, though.

I've had my hair "styled" three times at the GF. Each time, I've had a different lady and each has done a nice job. I've never tried CR. The same company runs the spots at GF, CR and Y&BC.

There was also a great young lady at a place next to the new Winn Dixie. Alas they've gone out of business.

I would call ahead once you have your plans set as it can sometimes be busy.

My daughters and I had our hair styled at the GF in September. The stylists were wonderful and very friendly. I am quite shy but they made me feel very at ease, and I was very happy with our hairdo's.

Thanks for the input folks! I sincerely appreciate you sharing your experiences. You'll help me make some necessary decisions! (ain't it grand to have such FUN decisions to be making?)
