GF or Contemporary?

Hi--we have a trip booked at the Contemporary in a Garden Wing room beginning the first week of May. Rooms keep popping up at the Grand Floridian and I'm tempted to switch over. Right now---which resort do you think would be best given everything that is going on? Are the walks to the MK about the same? Food choices? Pool availability?

CR is definitely closer to MK than GF if you walk. If you take the monorail, you are the longest ride to MK.

I give GF the edge on food choices only because it's an easy walk to Poly, so you have quick access to dining at both GF and Poly.

GF has 2 large pools, CR has one. The GF courtyard pool tends to be less crowded than the beach pool.

Switch to the Grand Floridian. Much more beautiful, and a much nicer walk to MK. We just returned from a trip and we did the GF-MK walk for the first time, and I loved it. I timed it at 15 minutes from the hotel to the park, which is a bit longer than the walk from the Contemporary, but while the walk from the Contemporary is through a parking lot, then alongside a busy road, and involves crossing streets with traffic lights, the walk from GF is a beautiful and scenic path nowhere near any traffic.

IMHO, GF is an overall better resort than CR. CR used to have an edge due to its proximity and walkability to MK. With the new GF-MK path, that CR perk is no longer exclusive and makes GF even more appealing IMHO. I would switch.
