For those at Grand Floridian, are they putting up the gingerbread house structure yet? I will be there after Halloween and I'm hoping to catch them building the house.

The GF Gingerbread House typically starts being built either 10/31 or 11/1. Keep an eye on the Holiday Decorations Thread. I’ll be updating it as info comes in!

Yep, saw them this morning. I'm getting sad though. I don't check in until Monday, and I'm afraid I'm going to miss them putting the gingerbread on the house.

We check in Monday too.

Over the years I have seen it built. It’s not fast! It takes days to assemble the wooden house and decorate. Hopefully we get to watch some. If not we get to see it well before others if complete.

It was reported overnight the wooden structure of the house is going up. They’re not wasting any time this year!! You might miss the building part, but at least you’ll get to see it in all its glory!

From pictures this morning, they are already putting gingerbread on the structure. That's so much sooner than I thought it would be.
