I just went on WDWIG site, GF pictures, and noticed that the logoon view room pictured vs. the garden view room in the Sago Cay (room 5424 to be exact) seems to be more subdued, not as busy in decoration. Is this true for all lagoon view rooms? Are all garden view rooms decorated similar (I know different themes; i.e., swan, cameo, floral, Alice) in the busy, victorian patterns? Are the lagoon view rooms much bigger? I was very impressed with the lagoon view room pictured on WDWIG site. Just doing a little research to see where I would like to request our room to be. Thanks!

That picture of the lagoon view room was prior to renovations. They'll all be decorated in floral, alice, or swan (pictured in 5424).

One thing I noticed about our lagoon view room in the Sago Cay building (btw, I responded to your question about Sago in your other thread) was that it appeared larger than rooms on the gardenview side but I think that's because we had a dormer, king bed room. The ceiling was more like a cathedral ceiling and again the space seemed larger. We walked passed several rooms when the doors were opened that had 2 queens and a gardenview and they just seemed so much smaller than the one we had.

Hope this helps ya' out! Enjoy your stay at the GF, we sure did!

thanks for your replies! Darn-I really like the rooms before they were done! Oh well! It's still the GF!! At least I know I can still save money and stay in a gardenview! Can't wait till Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
