Just curious, does GF have suites that can accomodate 5 adults, at the concierge level? If so, how much? Any comments?

We stayed at AKL concierge before, and it's absolutely the most wonderful thing. Wondering if GF can top that. (probably.)

The Sugar Loaf concierge has both one and two bedroom suites that would accommodate you, and the Main Building concierge has one type of two bedroom suite that would accommodate you. :) Otherwise, you'd be okay in a standard room in either concierge level.

Does the suite contains 2 separate rooms? I didn't know a standard concierge room will hold 5 adults.

Anyone else stay there before?

The suites have a parlor and one or two bedrooms. Standard concierge rooms can hold five adults, with two queen beds and a daybed. The rooms are large, and would be comfortable. The daybeds aren't bad, either (I'm 5' 8'' & 225lbs).

Well, it depends on the size of the adults as to whether it will comfortably hold them. There are 2 queen beds in a standard concierge room, and a daybed. I'm a 5'3" petite female, so *I* can sleep on the daybed just fine. But if you're much taller or larger than that, you could find it uncomfortable. You might also want to consider the deluxe concierge rooms - while they give no more bedding space, they DO give a lot more floor space, and are only $15 a night more!

Adamak, everyone here has given you excellent advice and information. I have nothing further to add except that I have stayed in two different two-bedroom suites at the GF. A few of my photos can be found here: click here to view my on-line photo albums. If you have specific questions to ask about a GF suite, post away (or you may PM me).

I thought I would give you the 2002 GF suite prices as an FYI.

Don't forget to add tax to those prices. And I should note that those suites can book up very quickly, so if you have a suite type and date in mind, book it as soon as possible. I have had difficulty getting what I wanted for my dates and thus have had to switch vacations around slightly in order to get what I needed. I have also had to resort hop, too. One example is that I wanted the two-bedroom suite at the GF for "x" number of days. I couldn't get it for the entire stay and thus had to hop over to the Captains Deck Suite at the YC for the missing nights (and the Captains Deck Suite was the only two-bedroom suite available at the YC for my nights).

Ah, Janet, the GF little "brochure" rate schedule! They renamed the suites and have classified things differently over the years, but they still have not updated the info on the rate sheets they give out!

Hey, at least they weren't the generic named ones that CRO quotes me -- the "A" or "B" suite, etc. ;)
