Geyser Point...

I believe they open at 11. It’s walk up only. No reservations.

I’ll be there next Saturday. We so excited.

Would we be able to come over from another resort to eat there in Dec?

At the moment you are free to resort hop.

The complication is how you arrive.

If you drive your own car you have to have a dining reservation, hard to get for restaurants that do not take dining reservations. You may or may not be let in by the guard. I was turned away at Riviera when trying to eat at Primo Piatto.

If you arrive by Uber/Lyft, Taxi, or Disney transportation you do not need a dining reservation.

We had lunch at Geyers Point the other day. Took a bus to MK, then the boat over to WL. Geyers point has a limited menu. Portobello Mushroom Salad, Cheeseburger, Bison Burger and maybe one other thing. If you are going for the ambience, fine....if you are going to EAT then really research the menu.

I was shocked to see how limited the menu is, I switched one of our CC nights to SSR because of the limited choices at CC. One night at Geyser will be enough.

Went last week. Walked up and sat down. The place was nearly empty and it was awesome!
Agree, awesome experience. Drove over from SSR, no problem at front gate (had a reserved fishing excursion out of VWL, another awesome experience). Went and ate lunch at GP, very quiet, great service, few patrons, etc.

The Grilled Portobello Salad with Steak was really good 16 months ago, had it twice, and hoping it will still be as good this Dec.

Geyser Point has always been inexplicably easy to access. Food is good, location is plus, and yet you can always walk right up.

Just my opinion, but....
I think the prices are high, the menu is extremely thin, and to get “good” seats is rare (not sure about seats with the covid situation).
Atmosphere is fantastic, but you may want to load up with Deet. I have been eaten alive. I think WDW cut back on their mosquito/no see-ums treatment.

We ate here twice in August...one late night meal with appetizers and drinks as they were the only thing open...and then again for lunch one afternoon. The menu is limited, but we loved the charcuterie plate and I had a salad with salmon that was also excellent for lunch. We sat by the water the second time, and it was during the day and lovely. We didn't have issues with bugs either time, but maybe we were just lucky.

We are returning to Copper Creek in a few weeks and are hoping to eat here again. I am a little afraid when I know that they do have an area next to the restaurant for people to queue up to eat here but thankfully it wasn't in use when we were there and I hope that we don't need to use it next month!

Are there bad seats at Geyser Point? I hadn't noticed any. It's all outdoors. We only go for one thing on the menu, the Bison Burger.

yes also wondering this because unless you're sitting at the bar, arent all of the seats at the perimeter of the restaurant and there aren't walls so even if you aren't up against the water you should be out in the open up against the backdrop of the resort...right?

Well, I’m going by my wife’s standards.
If it’s not a water view....
