Ok we are going to be at the all star sports and while i have read alot of good things i am getting concerned about some others. 1) that the main pool will be closed as well as the kidde pool. i am thinking that the 1 pool is going to be packed all the time (not that we spend a ton of time at the resort) i think that it's nice that we can go to the other All Stars resorts to swim but really who wants to do that ?????

2) i have read that the rooms are "slowly" getting redone there. is it going to be finished more then likely not. on a different tread i did see some great pictures of the updated rooms and they look great. I know this is simple little things however this is my first time staying at this resort (pop is fav and cbr is 2nd fav) and i really hope that i will like it....
for the amount of time that we spend there my DH and DBF (best friend) tell me i am worried over nothing !!!!

we are leaving in 41 days :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: and i don't want it worry anymore.........

If you are worried about these things, you might want to look into switching resorts - there's nothing worse than planning an vacation only to be worried about it. I'm at ASSp the week before and although it's not my 1st choice (only value resort with an AP rate), I'm going to make the best of it.
1) Although the main pool is closed, there's always the baseball pool that's open. If I find that crowded, I'll wander over to ASMu and use their pools.
2) There is a chance you might not get a renovated room but you can always put in a request for a renovated one - just remember it's only a request!

Good luck with whatever you decide!!! :cool2:

I agree - the time leading up to your Disney trip is supposed to be fun and exciting.

If you are going to worry about your resort, make a switch if possible.

I think you will have a GREAT time, even if you stay at All Star Sports. Nothing is perfect at any resort. Sometimes you have to go with the flow.

Good Luck!

if you have free dinning - forget about changing.

already asked. with free dinning you can't change - and this before anyone says anything was 'guest services' CRO transferred me.

I called last night and I requested for ALL 3 rooms to be in the renovated area and they said that they don't see a problem with that they had plenty of rooms because they are not that croweded ( mostly because the rehab being done on the pools) :confused3 :confused3

Things will be fine just being in Disney is MAGICAL all the way around and like my DH and DBF (best friend) said we are really not there for the resort w basically sleep and shower there that's it !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah we tried switching hotels (we're at ASMu) but we can't because of free dinning.
