Really? I wonder how much state and local taxes have gone up since President Bush has graced the White House... And let's make sure we ignore oil prices and the tremendous profits that oil companies have made on the backs of hard working Americans but hey as long as our taxes are lower.

Hmmm...gasoline prices went down about 2 months before the election. I wonder now that the election is over how long it will take for oil prices to shoot back up.

It's amazing what we have survived. Frankly, I think we benefit by keeping a balance in power over time. I wouldn't want either party, especially in the extreme, to continue to rule. There is something to be said for checks and balances.
