Getting wet on Jurassic Park

There was a post a few weeks ago about how wet you get.
I just got back from a trip to universal hollywood, and one of the employees said they lower the water in the ride. I noticed it down about 2 feet.
I came off the ride bone dry. Only getting squirt twice.
