inspired by the post below about fultons......

we have been going back and forth about getting the sliver plan add on ......
the things holding us back is if will really get our value out of the food ( we cant do any of the tours, except the family tour- children are too young, and I would be the only one to parasail, etc)
seeing posts about the expensive restuarants has brought up the questions again....
we would use it character breakfasts, and lunch but lunchs will/ would be counter service and i have seen on other areas that that is not the best use if wishes considering the value( i think ours came out to about $27/ per wish???)

dinners at more upscale dining would be what we would use, but is it worth it to get the silver plan?
what are some examples of peoples bills from ...

1) narcoussees?

2) concourse steakhouse?

3) fultons?

4) coral reef ( living seas)?

5) O'hannas?

any other fancy( read, expensive) places to dine?i have read the menus on allearsnet.com, but i would like
first hand info.

my children will be 6 and 14 when we go, and they both have incrediable appitites ( sp??) :)

any one have some thoughts on the silver plan dining?????

thanks

Tina

When we did the Silver Plan last July, the $27 per wish($54 per night) would be the childs price. Adults and Jr. (age 10-17) cost $33.50 ($67 per night).

I can tell you what we spent at Fulton's for 2 Adults, 1Jr. and 1 child - $256.86, Yachtsman Steakhouse - $275.27 (both 2 wishes). We also did the Hoop Dee Doo Review using the wishes. That was $147.61.

Counter Svc. and character breakfast won't get your money worth but we did do a character breakfast and that cost $63.13

thank you buzzlady.......

hoping some more people
remember thier bill at the other places i named......

is it 2 or 1 wish for each person? if it is 2 wishes for fultons with 2 people going will it be 4 wishes or 2 wishes. if it is 4 is this plan worth it for 2 people, I am so confused

the more upscale rest. require 2 wishes each, but the majority require 1 wish. I have 2 boys 14 & 8. The 14 yr old..well, we cant fill him up.....so the wish is well worth it for us. Our 8 yr old is not pickey, but wouldnt eat the cost of using a wish. So we are using his wishes as adult meals and paying cash for what he orders. Our travel agent said the wishes are pooled together and you can use them this way. We have PS for the Cirque Soleil. This is 2 wishes each, but well worth it. We also have PS at Hoop de doo and for the Spirit of O'hana Luau, CRT, Brown Derby Fant. Package and more. using 1 wish each. I guess how much it would cost out of pocket versus the silver add on, and we should save roughly $400. with the silver.

It does take time to investigate to get your money's worth, but at least you know what your ordering ahead of time!.....LOL.

For Fulton's it is 2 wishes per person (total 4 wishes). I ordered Surf & Turf (1 Filet Mignon and 2 lobster tails) and the price for that alone was $70.90. Then I ordered an appetizer (shrimp cocktail at $12.95), dessert($5.95), beverage and also the tax & tip included. So in my opinion it was WELL worth it.

poohandwendy-

That table of meal prices you made up is wonderful. What a time saver for the rest of us. Much appreciated! Threehearts
