Getting to Vero Beach

Which airport do you use for a Vero Beach visit? Also, what car service if I don't rent a car? We use Tiffany out of Orlando ...do they service this area too? Thank you....Andrea

Vero is about half way between MCO and PBI. You will need a car,to get around. Unless you stay on the grounds, nothing is very close.

I fly into Melbourne usually. It's about 30-45 minutes from the resort. Small airport - easy in and out. You can also use Orlando, but it's 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. away. You will definitely need a rental car for your stay at Vero. (At least, that's how I feel).

We always fly into MCO (Orlando) because you get a bigger selection of airlines and flight times. Also it usually is cheaper

It is about 96 miles(1 1/2 hrs) from Orlando airport to VB. The price you will pay for Tiffany to VB, it would be more practical to just rent a car for the stay.

Thank you for your responses! We have some FF tickets and thought we'd go down on a weekend to try it out.

For a weekend you could survive without a rental car if you are comfortable being a captive audience. However, even with arrival at Melbourne airport, hiring transport (taxi, towncar, etc.) will be expensive. Compare the cost of the two to be certain which is the better value.
