getting to universal from All star resort/TAXI

Hi we are going to WDW for first time in sept (19th staying at wdw All star music resort 9 nights) 7 full days at WDW parks one day at kennedy Space centre and one at universal.

No rental car etc (travelling from Australia) IS THE BEST WAY TO GET FROM THE ALL STAR RESORT TO UNIVERSAL by taxi ? I assume Disney allow taxis onto the resort. I am hoping its only around 30 to 40 bucks for a taxi to Universal.

Question 2 Say after a long day at Epcot can you get a taxi back to your hotel if the WDW busses are full or if you do not want to wait. (prob around $20 or so I am assuming)

Hey

There are Taxis outside every resort and themepark so you wont have a problem finding one.

I think Taxis from All stars to Universal Roundtrip is roughly $50-$70
You can also ask at front desk about the Mears transport to Universal which is something like $13 round trip per person.

I was just about to ask the same question, but we haven't decided between ASMU or renting points at AKL villa...is the $13 transport standard from any hotel?

I believe the Mears shuttle runs $18.00/per adult now. Children's fares are less.

If the fare is round trip, how does it work when you want to return? Do you have a receipt to show, or do you call the driver?

I'd like to know this too... as well as some more info. I had no idea there was a shuttle.
