Getting to Typhoon lagoon

Does it really take over 40 minutes to get from Animal kingdom Lodge to Typhoon Lagoon on Disney buses? That seems like such a long time but our sons are looking forward to doing both water parks.

It could if you have to wait long for a bus. The actual drive is probably about 15 minutes.

Bus will take up to 20-25 min to wait and its a 15 min drive so that sounds right.
