Getting to the real Everglades

Does anyone know of any tours that take you done to the everglades for the air boatr rides and to see the area. I have done it done near Miami, but OH has just done the air boiat riodes and seen it with Boggy Creek, and although fun, it would be nice to see the Everglades in thier full glory, rather than just the edges.

I'd rather not have to drive down there!

One misconception, in the real Everglades (national park) no airboats are allowed. And sorry, the national park is all the way at the south point of Florida.

Sorry, I should have put 'real' meaning the more southern Fl landscape rather than the more open lake areas, ares outside the national park Hopefully you know what I mean.

we went with boggy creek airboats and they were fantastic....it feels a million miles away from the theme parks
