Hotel shuttle doesn't leave until 7:35

Did not want to pay for parking since we are paying to park at the hotel and I"m just cheap that way...

what are my options?

Is your hotel close to the ART (Anaheim Resort Transportation) shuttle?? Check the schedule and see if it runs earlier than the hotel shuttle.

Looks like your options are ART, drive ,walk or take a cab. Art does not run on a schedule that is very exact.

I could walk it but I am taking the toddler, 5 yo and 13 yo. 6:30 may be too early.

Maybe breakfast isn't our best choice

Where are you staying? That may help us narrow down some options for you...

Color me stupid, but where can you get breakfast at the park at 07:00???

Where are you staying, and where are you eating?

If eating at a hotel restaurant, you can park there for a certain amount of time when you're eating there...

Darph I'm guessing OP is thinking of doing Minnie & Friends for breakfast before the park opens.

OP can you change your time? We like to do M&F later in the morning, around 10 or so.

OK I called to schedule reservations and talked to the coolest cast member.

He says I can park for a few hours at the hotel if we are eating there - so we have 7:20 reservations for Goofy's kitchen. We are going to drive over.

I'm considering going to the park then coming back to drive back to the hotel - and maybe get some swimming in.

Anyone know how long you can park at a hotel if you are eating there? I also scheduled for the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at PPH - he had me at ordering a la carte....

Well, they schedule character meals for 90 minutes...I assume you have a bit more than that at the hotel for free.

Regarding PPH's a la carte...check out the menu and pricing at allears.net on their DLR pages...once you add juice or coffee, you're getting up close to the price of the buffet... Each time we have gone to a character b'fast, we've gone to the "buffet or menu" places (Storytellers and PCH Grill), and each time I just get the buffet, mainly b/c of the total cost and total choice issue. :upsidedow

I think it's 3 hrs that you get while dining. I assumed you were trying to eat IN the parks, otherwise I would have suggested just driving/parking. After your meal you could send the fam into the parks, drive back to the hotel, take ART and meet them. Or you could just drive over to the parking structure and pay $12 for the day.

My kids are trained to order water LOL

We will get the passholder discount - and if the buffet looks good we will order that. My 13 year old is so excited - he loves stitch and he loves goofy... :)

You get approx 90 minutes, if it is real busy the CM's will inform you as you enter how much time you have. That was what I was told today. The mid week dates we have in August Plaza is not open prior to the park opening. Could not make ressie's.

No, Jack, 3 hours for parking not to eat. I know the guideline is 90 and yes, they will hurry you along if you're taking more than that. I've actually done a lot of character meals and the only time I felt hurried was at Goofy's Kitchen.

Reading this on my Iphone and must have misinterpreted.
