Getting to the Boardwalk from offsite

I will be staying off-sie (DD/LBV area) next week and want to get over to the Boardwalk one night while I am there to go to ESPN or Jellyrolls. Is the Boardwalk area easy to get to from there? I will have a rental car so that's not an issue.

Yes, very easy. The WDW maps are fine. Just tell the gate staff you are going to ESPN and they will let you right in.

It is easy to get there -- follow signs for Boardwalk resort, turn into parking area and you will approach a gate. Tell the guard you are visiting the Boardwalk -- he will ask to see photo ID, then wave you in. No parking fees involved. My 13 yo son loves ESPN!
