Getting To Sea World From Disney Without A Car?

We will be getting off the Disney Wonder on Oct 30 and we have a shuttle taking us to our Disney hotel. There is 15 of us and we have hired a private shuttle. Anyway we would like to go to Sea World for the day on that Thursday. What is our best option to get there from our Disney hotel??????

Is Sea World close enough that we could call a taxi to take us??

You would need at least two taxi vans to get your group there, that could get expensive (I would imagine over $20 per van, each way, plus tip.)

You might want to consider taking public transit. There is a Lynx bus that stops at the TTC regularly throughout the day. It goes directly to Sea World, no transfers needed. It's about $1.50 per passenger each way. The last bus leaves the Sea World area at about 7:00pm.

THAT IS GREAT! THANKS FOR THE TIP! SO THAT MEANS WE COULD JUST CATCH THE BUS FROM SEA WORLD BACK TO DISNEY THEN ALSO??

The Lynx bus can take you to SeaWorld. The Link 50 leaves the Transportation & Ticket Center at :18 and :48 past the hour. It's about 20 mins to SeaWorld. There are a few stops, just check with the driver as to which one is best. Fares run $1.25 per person each way. For more information, check out www.golynx.com

Wow, I never new this. Is there also a bus that would take you to Universal Studios?

Yes and no. You can take the same Lynx bus, and then transfer at Sea World to US. Two problems with it--it can take up to 1 1/2 hours each way depending on the connection, and the last bus leaves at around 7:00pm, so you need to leave US NO LATER than about 6:00pm to be sure to catch it. Really shortens the day there.
