Getting to know us ?'s 10/30

We are a hand out family here. Our neighborhood is crawling with kids. Since it is a Friday this year, I bought 25 lbs of candy literally. Two 10 lb bags of "chocolate favorites" (i think they are mars or Hershey's, whatever Costco was selling) and store box of like 200 tootsie pops. I just felt like a tootsie pop when I was at cost co, so I had to buy the huge box. And i have a few single serving of candy corn packs that I used to make stuff for the work party we had today.

After the little kids have gone to bed, we put out all the remaining candy on the front steps and the teenagers clean it out by morning.

If it was here, I would eat it!

Yes, I'll be handing out candy this year. I've bought 10 bags - we usually get a lot of kids and I feel stingy giving just one piece. I bought all of my favorites: Snickers, M&Ms, KitKat, Reese's. I figure if I have any leftover, I at least want it to be stuff I like!! My mom will come over to hand out the candy so DH and I can take the kids trick or treating. DS#1 will be Donald Duck and Zachary is going to be a skunk.

I think I'm going to have to send DS16 out for more candy...DH and I went to the new Walmart in town, and they had no halloween stuff...but had isles and isles of Christmas stuff...

I did find a couple of bags by the check-out but I think we need a couple of more... especially because DH was eyeing up the twix...

oh deb, i love those twix too! i'd be eyeballing them also!
