Blue Christmas - the Elvis Presley version.
What Child is This?, because I love GreenSleeves.

My favorite Christmas song is the Little Drummer Boy

I have lots of others I like but this one is my all time favorite

Tough to say....

sorry to sound ornery to OP, but I can't stand B. Springsteen and I will actually turn OFF the radio if that song is on!

I actually kind of like Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You" but only because she sang it at a Disney Christmas parade a few years ago. We recorded the parade on our DVR and the kids and I watched it endlessly. I'm not a big fan of MC, but that song reminds me of Disney every time I hear it!

I like to sing "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Feliz Navidad" with my kids. But other than that I can't even think of any particular Christmas song that I just love..................P

Christmas Eve in Washington

I think you have to be from (or in my case have lived in) Washington DC to really "feel" it. There is something special about DC at Christmas. When it is quiet and still you really get a respect for all it means.

Silver Bells - Elvis version

No Place like Home for the Holidays - Perry Como

12 Pains of Christmas

No brainer for me- O Holy Night.

Christmas Eve service when I was growing up, the choir leader sang O Holy Night as a solo. It made Christmas for me, he had an amazing voice and the lights were out in the church with only candlelight glowing. It was beautiful and the song is beautiful. I get choked up every time I hear it remembering my childhood! I was really struggling not being with my family last Christmas Eve as we went to our church for Christmas Eve service (we are usually with my parents, my dad is a Presbyterian minister). All of a sudden, two choir members stood up and started singing O Holy Night with the lights down low and candlelight glowing. Talk about waterworks for me!!! I was silently sobbing, DH didn't even have to look, he just took my hand. :lovestruc

This is so funny! I was thinking just this morning that this would make a great question of the day!! ;)

My favorite Christmas song is probably "What Child Is This?". My 2nd favorite is "O Holy Night".

Of the more humorous variety ;) , my favorite (and DH would say it was my VERY favorite because I make him listen to it over and over) is Montgomery Gentry's version of "Merry Christmas from the Family"! I also love "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas"!!

"I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas"!!

OMG!!! Finally another person that knows that song! I have it on my iPod, and when it play at work, everyone just looks at me :confused3 They've never heard it!

I'm used to the looks though, my iPod has so much Disney, they just roll their eyes at me...

love that Ash. very nice story. i can just picture it in my mind.

I think my favorite is "Angels We Have Heard On High" or "Hark The Hearld Angels Sing or "Heirlooms. Or just about anything Amy Grant sings on her 3 CD's.

But I also love "Silent Night", "Oh Holy Night", and "Oh Come All Ye Faithful".

More traditional carols...Oh Holy Night. But more modern...the whole Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, but especially "Christmastime is Here."

Our local radio station plays it all the time! They look at me crazy when i sing about Dominic the Donkey though since that is a rare song here in DC.

Come to New England. All they play are Dominic the Donkey and I want a Hippopotomus for Christmas. Unfortunately I am not a fan and change the station every time they come on. Which is alot!

Of the traditional songs, my absolute favorite is O Holy Night.

Other songs that I really like are "All I want for Christmas is a Real Good Tan" by Kenny Chesney, "Jungle Bells" by the 4 Seasons, and "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" by the 4 Seasons.

I really love the 4 Seasons' Christmas CD. My Mom had it in album form when I was a kid and I remember it being played every Christmas. I was very happy to find it on CD years ago and I play it every Christmas.

Mine are

Silent Night
I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas
Hey Santa

and any by TSO

My all time favorite is Mary did you know by Kenny Rogers and Wyonna Judd. Chokes me up each and every time I hear it.

Can't stand Dominic the Donkey.:scared:
