ok here it is.......

what's your favorite cereal????

i'll start....

i have such a list it would probably be shorter if i told you the kinds i don't like.

but my top ones are
honey nut cheerios
honeybunches of oats
regular corn flakes- special k the best
rice crispies

I have to differentiate here. When I was a kid I loved Captain Crunch and Fruit Loops but didn't have them too often because Mom didn't allow sugary cereals.

Now I tend to eat Cheerios and frosted mini wheats. I also like Rice Chex and Grape Nuts.

My favorites that I rarely have are Captain Crunch and Lucky Charms.

My favorite regular cereals are Rice Krispies with strawberries or Special K with strawberries.

ooohhh i love captain crunch! with crunch berries too! yumm-o

:goodvibes Me likey the cereal...yummmmmmm......

I'm going with hot and cold

Hot:
Oatmeal
Cream of Rice

Cold: (harder)
Homemade Meusli (got hooked on DCL)
Right now I'm on a Puffed Rice kick...
Rice Krispies
Cheerios
Special K
Shredded Wheat

And in the sweeter catagory...and I don't eat these much at all...

Honey Bunches of Oats
Frosted Mini Wheats

I told you me likey the cereal!!!

I have never eaten much cereal - I haven't had milk since I was 5.

As a child I would eat whatever sweet cereals were around (that had no milk in them) as a snack from time to time- Foot Loops, and Captian Crunch were my favorites.

Even now I still don't eat cereal- as I don't drink stright milk although I will eat products with milk in them. Chex is my favorite cereal- I will eat any of the kinds from my childhood- I see no point in the frosted chexs and such they have come up with in the last 10 years.

I love cereal too! Any time of day!

Cheerios
Honey Nut Cheerios
Corn Flakes
Special K
Grape Nuts
Corn Chex
Rice Pickies (what DD called them)

Cheerios
Rice Krispies
Special K

are my ol' standbys. Rice Chex, I like too, but it's more expensive, and gets soggy a little to fast for me.

When I feel like a sugary cereal, my choice is Lucky Charms. I try to save the marshmallow bits for last. I ate a lot of Fruit Loops or Trix as a kid too, but now that I am older, I get tired of them sooner. But a box now and then is okay.

I really, really, really like Frosted Mini Wheats. But I found out that too much wheat causes my psoriasis to flare. So no mini wheets for me, or Triscuits. Drives me crazy that I can't have them.

I like Frosted Mini Wheats, Kashi Go Lean Crunch, Cream of Wheat (maple brown sugar) and Oatmeal (maple brown sugar)!

Trix now is not the same as when we were kids. I can't stand the new stuff.

Sugar cereals - Lucky Charms or Boo Berry

I prefer Mini Wheats - plain, strawberry, blueberry any really.
Then I like chex - rice, corn, chocolate
After that I'll finish off the Honey Bunches or Special Ks.
Right now, at this very moment I have 8 different boxes of cereal, although only 4 are open.

My favorite is Lucky Charms. I still eat them! Is it bad that I don't like to share them with DS because he eats all of the marshmallows?

I am a cereal girl! Breakfast, lunch or dinner - it doesn't matter. Sometimes with milk, sometimes without. My favoritest favorite is Special K (the original - I don't like the ones where they added stuff to it.) Also Product 19, Raisin Bran Crunch, and Crispix. I am not one for the sweet ones, although DH is so there is frequently "junk" in the house. I will have his Cookie Crisp for dessert sometimes, and I am developing a weakness for Golden Grahams.

When I was little, I was an extremely picky eater and my mother decided to give up the dinnertime battles. I ate cereal for dinner 99% of the time, but I wasn't allowed to get the sugary cereals. Once in a blue moon I was allowed to buy a "treat" cereal and I would always pick Boo Berry. My best friend when I was little had this amazing "closet of cereal" in her kitchen - they had like every cereal known to man, and for afterschool snacks at her house we would mix up a big bowl of lots of different kinds - never with milk.

Yummy!! :lmao:

Capn Crunch- just ran out found it for $1.50 a box :thumbsup2 so i bought like 8 boxes.
Peanut Butter Capn Crunch
Golden Grahams
Raisin Bran
Cocoa Puffs
Rice Chex
Froot Loops-Dry

And of course-
Oatmeal and Cream of Wheat. for hot.

During both my pregnancies I ate Lucky Charms almost every day. I just love that cereal.

I also loved Honey Nut Chex but I can't seem to find it anywhere any more. I ate that for dinner most nights when I lived alone. YUMMY!!!

Honey-ohs, but you never see it anymore. if I come across it in a store I stock up. I am not really into the really sweet cereals. I will take any of the "kid tested-mother approved" variety and I am not talking about just kix. Frosted mini wheats, chex (really like the multi-grain kind), honey-nut cheerios, life all fit the bill.

I really like all oatmeal, although I wont eat the "lower sugar" varieties since they really haven't lowered the sugar they have just added splenda and that stuff really makes me nervous!
