Getting to Knotts from DLR

Would you take ART 18 or Metro 460 to KBF from Harbor Blvd? We are staying at Fairfield Inn and plan to visit Knotts next Friday. Just wondering what is best form of public transportation? If it is all together easier to get a cab, let me know that too! Thanks for your advise! You guys have helped me so much to plan my trip and this is one of my final details to get in order!

In September we were considerig taking the ART to Knotts, but in the end were lazy and took a taxi - we were staying at PPH so just walked over to the Grand Californian and got a taxi there. The driver gave us his card to call him when we wanted to leave Knotts, but there were taxis available outside Knotts so we just went with one already there.

The trip took 10 minutes and cost about $22 each way - I believe the ART takes 45 minutes each way. We were happy to pay the extra money for the convenience and time saving' and we also didn't have to worry about being on time for the ART.

We took a cab. for us was the best answer. it cost us a little more than PP as we were a fam of 6, and at the end of the night it was nice just be able to get in a cab and go "home"

Oh I didn't realize it would take so long to get there taking the Art, a cab sounds like our best option

There was a great web page somewhere with precise directions, can't find it now, but ART is a bad idea, and I've been told "The LA Metro Route 460 goes between Disneyland and Knott's" and that's the way to go.

If someone could point to that web page, it would be great, it showed images of where each bus stop was, what the sign looked like, and so on.

I've seen the metro 460 thread, I am subscribed to it! Thanks! I just noticed that ART was a new option, but it doesn't sound like it is a good option. I called the hotel to confirm my reservations and I asked her what was best way to get to knotts and she said shuttle service or cab. She seemed kinda busy and didn't really have time to elaborate so I will ask hotel once we are there. We are staying at the FFI and I thought I remembered a bus stop on Manchester near Hojo which is pretty convenient but if that is not the stop we may just take a cab?

It is about 7 mins between the parks. The public transportation is such a hassle out here. Best bet take a cab. 5 north exit buena park
