I have heard of Mears buses running to Kennedy Space Center on certain days of the week with a charge of $20 per adult round trip. I wonder if someone could possibly confirm this.

I have already been to KSC twice (both with organised tours) and I was less than satisfied with the arrangements. We want to go a non-guided visit so we aren't harrassed, but we don't want to hire a car and have all the added responsibility (especially as we're used to the left side of the road!! haha).

John

I do not know about Mears but when we went, we rented a car from National at the TTC. It was really simple to do. This may be a less expensive option that will allow you to have more flexibility with your itinerary.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by unguided tour at KSC. You can go to the Visitors Center but they will not let you wander around KSC alone. You must take one of their tours to go anywhere away from the Visitors Center. And yes Mears will transport you to and from the Visitors Center at KSC.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Just to clear things up; I am not talking about touring inside KSC. I've already been twice.

All I'm needing to clarify is the getting from WDW to KSC and back again. Thanks.
