I have booked a breakfast ADR for 8.10 am on a day where Magic Kingdom doesn't open til 9 am as everyone raves about how fab it is being in the park when it is empty! :goodvibes But just had a thought - if the buses only start running an hour before a park opens will we be able to get there on time? We are staying at POFQ and won't have a car.

you shouldn't have a problem, they actually run the buses starting early enough those with ADR's pre park open can get to them. example, park doesn't open till 9am, but you have ADR for 8:05am (this was how it was for me last year), I grabbed a bus at about 7:15am (from All star sports) and got there with plenty of time to walk to CRT. I think busses run starting at 6:30am, not depending on opening time of a park. :confused3 someone correct me if I am wrong.

You're right. There are buses to get people to their breakfasts that start around 6:30. They do seem to run a little less frequently that early though, so it is good to be out there early. For an 8:10 adr, I'd be waiting at the bus stop by 7:00-7:15ish like you mentioned.

Thanks guys! Have booked it the first morning of our trip and we are always still on UK time so getting up early at the start of the trip is always easy! Not so easy nearer the end when we get later and later at DTD! :cool1:

I even had a bus driver take us to the chef mickey resort (3 families all going there so he radio whoever & let them know of his change) That was for a 7:05 breakfast

My advice, have a camera ready when you enter the Magic Kingdom. One of the only times you will get an opportunity to get a picture of a vacant Main Street with Cinderella's Castle in the background. Have a good time.

Buses start running, to all parks from all resorts, at 6:30 am, every day. These buses run a bit less frequently than the regular buses do...so plan accordingly. If you have a 7am ADR, it may be hard to get to it ontime, so it may be best to book a later ADR.
If you are eating at the CR, you can ask the driver, when you board the bus, which is faster..walking or the monorail..to CR. The driver may very well offer to drop you there if it is at all possible.

Thanks. Our reservation is at 8.10 in Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom so should be fine. Will aim to be out at 7 so we have loads of time. Thank you everyone!

I agree with the other post, have the camera ready to take pictures. You can get great family pix in front of castle with no one in the park. They let us into the park 30 minutes before our ADR so we had plenty of time to shoot tons of really cool photos with no one around. and the SM's are around to take family photos too
