Getting to BOG PPO breakfast...

I should know this, but I'm blanking.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that busses only start going from resorts 45 minutes before each park opens (it's been a few years, and we were never really rope drop people when I was growing up, so maybe I'm just remembering old information).

I somehow - not really even trying, but it popped up and why not? - got an 8:05 BOG ADR on a day in Feb when MK is scheduled to open at 9.

I'm staying at AKL.

Will there even be a bus early enough for that to work? Or should I plan on using a Minnie Van or whatever to get there?

Yes the buses will be running. We’ve done early adrs at a few parks, BOD at MK being one of them, and we never had a problem getting there.

In my experience, buses run almost 2 hours before park opening.

Thank you! I thought it was longer than 45 minutes, but an entry that was included in the Disney Dining Daily Update said 45 minutes before and I was confused. Clearly an old entry. Lol.

Not necessarily "old." For years I've read on here that Disney says 45 minutes and posters say no, it's much earlier. It's just one of those "Sometimes the Dis knows better than Disney" things.

I've read here that buses start around 6:30 am. The past couple of years I've had no trouble catching a bus around 6:50/7:00 so I can ride to MK and walk to the Wave for breakfast.

The front desk will give you the “45 minutes before opening” line even though there may be a bus outside at 6:30am.

Interesting. They know they book PPO meals but still stick to that.
