Getting to Auto Club South w/o a car

I wanted to swing by Auto Club South so I could use my AAA membership to save $20 on my Annual Pass purchase. However, I'm flying in and won't have a car. Is there any way to get to ACS for free?

I could take a cab, but if it costs any more than $10-$15 round-trip, then I'm negating the $20 discount. Is there a better solution?

Thanks.

It looks like the closest one is in Kissimmee, near the Kissimmee airport. Google says it is 16 miles away. That's about 2/3 of the way from Disney to the Orlando airport (just as a comparison).

A cab ride from MCO to Magic Kingdom resorts is about $57 (one way) per the Mears taxi calculator.

So I'm thinking your savings plan is not really workable, unless you can figure out a way to get a Lynx public bus there, or if someone tells you there's another office closer.

Even if I could get there on a Lynx bus, the savings would never be worth my time.

Well, I was going to take Magical Express to Yacht Club, so I wasn't planning on a cab from the airport. I was thinking about how to get to ACS from YC or somewhere else on-property for free.

I knew it was a long shot, but figured it didn't hurt to ask.

Your point is quite valid re: time. Even if I could make a round trip for $10, I'm not sure the net $10 savings on the AP would be worth the time and effort.

Not going to happen for the savings you need.

I was using the distance/price from MCO to MK to figure out the price from Yacht Club to Kissimmee (extrapolating from the available choices on the Mears website). I didn't mean you were going to take a taxi from the airport to anywhere.

I apologize. I misunderstood your post. Thanks for the help.

Yes, the cost-benefit analysis doesn't really justify the effort.
