We have ADRs at 805 on each one of our park days. If the buses don't start running until a hour before park opening then are we just stuck driving to those ADRs?

Buses start running to the parks, from all resorts, by 6:30am every single day. BUT...they tend to run less frequently than the regular buses. For 8am ADRs, I would be out at the bus stops no later than 7am, and possibly even at 6:30. If you get there at 7, and the bus is pulling away, you may have to wait until close to 7:30 for the next one.

my husband is gonna crap his pants if I tell him that. I think we might be driving

I wouldn't drive to AK, because sometimes they don't open the parking lot until 8:00. If you're driving to MK, I would leave at 7:00, which is the same time I'd be at the bus stop..

How early do they actually let you in the park for a 8:05am reservation...If you are there super early b/c you didn't want to miss the bus will they let you into Main Street or where ever?

The'll let you in around 7:45.

If planning on driving to MK, be sure to leave plenty of time to use TTC. You have to park, either walk to the main area or take a tram from the parking lot. Once you get to the main area of the TTC, you will have to take either the monorail or ferry over to MK. Plan on an about 45 mins from resort to MK when driving.

You can usually get into the park, before rope drop, about 30 mins before your ADR. You are supposed to show up at the restaurant podium about 15 mins prior to your ADR, so if your ADR is at 8am, and the park opens at 9, you should be able to get into the park around 7:35-7:40. THey will not let you in more than 30 mins early though.

thanks everyone!!! I think we should be fine since I don't anticipate my kids sleeping in at all on vacation so they will probably be up around 630 anyways. That is usually when I get up as it is.
