Getting tickets to the Hallowishes Dessert Party

Those of you that were able to book this party, how did you find out when tickets were going on sale and when did you book them? I assume that they all sell out in the first few days, but do they go even faster than that? Were you able to have advance notice that they would be going on sale on X date, or did you just happen to find out about it on the day the reservations were released?

I kept checking on here and on the disney parks blog and disney site until I saw something. I purchased 5 tickets for halloween night at around noon on the first day. I'm not sure how quickly it sold out but based on things I saw posted here you're about right - a few days for many dates.

I think I found out either from the DIS daily newsletter I get, or from the Disney Blog newsletter.... But I'm betting it was the DIS. I know it was an email, because I don't check the blog site or even facebook very often. I booked as soon as I saw it (I did this last year for the Frozen Summer Premium Package as well), because I was sure that it would sell out. As it was, I needed a party of 10 for the night we are doing MNSSHP, but could only get 8. That ended up working out since two in our party decided not to go. I think it was sold out for most dates within a couple of days, and it was not publicized in a lot of places. I have other friends going the same time we are, they are all Disney vets, and none of them had any idea it was even being offered.

I am currently on the lookout for something special for Season's of the Force, and hoping that it will coincide with when we are there in April.
